Downsizing

So, how do you fit 10 years of "stuff" into an RV? HOW, in God's creation, do you take nothing for 6 people? Or take just what you need and leave the rest??? Downsizing is the word I keep saying. Here's what we've gotten rid of so far...
2 twin beds and matresses, end table to match, one queen size bed with dresser and end tables to match, radio, tv, 10 bags of clothes with more to follow, kitchen table, chairs, entertainment center, 2 surround sound systems (why do you need 2?) a trampoline, 2 bookcases, 2 new sets of "good" dishes (ones I just bought, they are green pottery and square very cool.) I still have SOOOO much left in this house to get rid of. I get sad sometimes thinking that these things are all the stuff we've had and some things we just got. But so what? They are just "things" and do we REALLY need them? What is important? I mean REALLY important. Our clothes, we can't go around naked, even though I'D love to. I need my sewing machine and my pictures and scrapping stuff. That's about all I need. But then there are 5 other peeps in this house that NEED stuff too. So, now we NEED a "burger box" for our stuff that we NEED. I wish we didn't have so much attachment to our stuff. I think all we really NEED is Jesus and each other...the rest will take care of itself. "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or ' What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows you need all these things. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His rightousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Jesus in Mathew 6:31-34 God is so good, all the time, He is good!

Hi! Thank you for your comment about my thoughts on graduation. Hearing other people's reactions gets me pumped to write more. So, thank you very much!!
I'm excited to hear you're moving to Springfield. I live in Nixa. There are lots of cool things to do in Missouri with a homeschooling family. We've lived here 5 years and still haven't seen it all!
God bless, Tricia
